Introduction of digital display micrometer:

Digital micrometer also known as micrometer is a digital display of micrometers. It can be set at any position, the starting value can be set to meet special requirements, the tolerance value can be set to determine the tolerance, the British system conversion, with output interface, and the data processing by calculation or printer.

The use of digital display micrometer:

1. The digital display micrometer is fixed on the watch base or the watch frame, stable and reliable. When clamping indicator, the clamping force should not be too large, so as not to deform the sleeve and jam the measuring rod.

2.Adjust the axis of the measuring rod of the digital display micrometer to be perpendicular to the measured plane. For the cylindrical workpiece, the axis of the measuring rod should be perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece, otherwise it will produce a large error and damage the indicator table.

3.Set the digital micrometer to zero before measuring. Turn ON the digital display micrometer switch "ON/OFF" and press "ZERO "to return to zero. Absolute measurement with the flat plate for zero datum, comparative measurement with the contrast (measuring block) for zero datum. When adjusting the zero position, first make the probe contact with the datum surface, the pressure probe makes the big pointer rotate for more than one circle, rotate the dial to align the 0 line with the big pointer, then lift the top of the measuring rod 1-2mm and let it fall, and check whether the pointer is still aligned with the 0 line after 2-3 times, if not, then reset.

4. When measuring, gently lift the measuring rod of digital display micrometer by hand, and put the workpiece under the measuring head. Do not push the workpiece into the measuring head by force. Appreciably concave and convex workpiece is not measured with indicator. Reading the measuring needle tip to the indentations of the object to be measured, so that the plane of the needle base and the plane of the object to be measured completely fit, and then reading. Press "INCH" to convert to British system, suitable for different reading requirements.

5. Do not make the measuring rod of digital micrometer suddenly hit the workpiece, nor strong vibration, beating indicator. Pay attention to the measuring range of the digital display micrometer when measuring, do not make the digital display micrometer probe displacement beyond the range, so as to avoid excessive elongation of the spring, damage indicating digital display micrometer.

6. Do not use the digital micrometer probe rod to do too much invalid movement, otherwise it will accelerate the wear of parts, so that the digital micrometer lose due accuracy.

　7. When the movement of the measuring rod of the digital micrometer is blocked, the pressure probe can not be pushed forcefully, and must be sent to the measuring room for processing.

Maintenance of digital display micrometer:

1. Keep the digital display micrometer away from the liquid, and do not make the coolant, cutting fluid, water or oil contact with the table.

2. When the digital display micrometer is not in use, all the load should be removed and the measuring rod should be in a free state.

3. In addition to the long-term use of digital display micrometer, the measuring rod is not coated with any grease, so as not to bond.
